What does the hourly charge for writing mean?

Each writing assignment is unique, so I charge based on the time invested. My hourly rate covers both the time spent crafting content and the research hours, which are billed at a reduced rate. On average, you can expect a writing output of 300-500 words per hour.

What is the difference between proofreading and editing?

While proofreading (copyediting) only includes checking for typos and grammar mistakes, editing considers the architecture of the text as a whole, taking a thorough look at grammar, stylistics, sentence structure, referencing, fact-checking and/or formatting as needed.

What is included in the manuscript assessment?

I will read your draft and leave comments, send you a 500-word report on its strengths and weaknesses, and schedule a private 1-hour consultation with you.

What if I need the text urgently?

If you need the assignment delivered urgently I will apply an additional charge of 30%.
