Hello! I am Emma, the founder of eutext. I started this company with a belief that not everyone has to be a language expert. As a one-person business, I am on a mission to deliver quality writing, editing, and translation to businesses and inviduals alike.

I am a passionate writer, editor, and storyteller. Originally from Slovakia, I hold an MA in Comparative and English Literature from the University of Glasgow and a Master's in Literary Studies (Writing, Editing and Mediating) from the University of Groningen.​

With a lifelong sensitivity to text and a reading habit of 100-130 books per year, I was able to turn my passion into a career. I have a sharp eye for the nuances of style, tone, and meaning, and I'm able to apply storytelling principles to brand communication. I am always eager to learn a new language - apart from Slovak and English, I also speak Dutch and have dabbled in Ukrainian, French, and Portuguese.

In 2025, my story was shortlisted for the most prestigious short story award in Slovakia, Poviedka. I'm currently working on publishing my first novel. For my full creative writing portfolio both in English and Slovak, see below.
